|Sean Lien (連勝文)||
Mr. Lien joined the GE Asia Pacific Capital Technology Fund as an Executive Director in 2001. He is also a member of the Executive Committee of the KMT Party in Taiwan. Given his political role and access in both Taiwan and Mainland China, he primarily focuses on deal sourcing and due diligence on Greater China investments for Asia Pacific Capital Fund II.
Mr. Lien previously served at Morgan Stanley Dean Witter in London, New York, and Taipei. As Vice President of the Investment Banking Group in Taipei, his duties included M&A advisory, capital market transactions, and distressed asset investments in both Taiwan and China. He currently serves on the Board of Directors for the International Bank of Taipei and the FWU-Sheng Investment Co. where he represents his family's holdings. He holds a Bachelor of Law from Fu-Jen University and a J.D. from Columbia University School of Law.
Mr. Lien is based in Taipei and Shanghai.
|Michael Liu (刘小明)||
Mr. Liu leads China Operations for Asia Pacific Capital. Previously, he was President of CT Holdings Group Co., a subsidiary of CP Group, a major multi-national and the single largest foreign investor in China. In less than two years, he acquired US$2 billion of undervalued assets in China. Prior to that, he was President of Electrolux (China) Co. and Senior Vice President of Electrolux Sales Co. Limited focusing on strategic direction, marketing and sales. Before that he was the General Manager for Pepsico Food International China, responsible for sales and marketing as well as Director of Investment Planning Asia Pacific for Pepsico Inc.
Mr. Liu holds a JD from Harvard Law School, an MA from the Fletcher School of Law and Diplomacy at Tufts University, and a BA in English from Zhejiang University, Hangzhou PRC. He was previously an associate at Coudert Brothers and Cleary, Gottlieb, Steen & Hamilton based in New York.
Mr. Liu is based in Beijing.
